Sound familiar?

  • I’ll figure it out after I graduate.
  • Everyone else seems to know what they’re doing.
  • I just need to find my passion.
  • I’m doing everything I’m supposed to do, so why do I still feel lost?

Everyone is born with something unique to bring into this world. But because of pressure from society, a lot of us lose touch with who we really are. We wait for purpose to hit us one day, and meanwhile we follow the path everyone expects us to take.

The good news is that it’s already there within you. You don’t need to create anything new. You just need to dig up what’s been buried inside you all along.

Why I made this

For about 10 years, from when I was 12, I felt lost and had no real direction. I spent my holidays watching YouTube from morning till evening, and I failed again and again, in school and outside it. But I kept improving and slowly found my purpose, and now I want to help you find yours.

What changed the direction of my life was picking up books and actually doing what they said. This workbook puts the strategies that helped me most into one place, with a question for every idea, so you don’t have to spend 10 years figuring it out like I did.

The 3 stages: Foundation, Growth and Sustain

  1. Stage 1

    Foundation

This is where you find your direction. Five strategies from Robert Greene’s Mastery help you spot the interests you’ve had since you were young and the paths you took for the wrong reasons. Then you set your own values. Every big company has values that guide what it does, and you should have yours too, built around Family, Fitness and Freedom.

By the end of it you’ll know the interests you keep coming back to, and three values for each part of your life.

  2. Stage 2

    Growth

This is where you start moving, with the B.E.R.T. framework: Beliefs, Education, Rejection, and Trial and error. Quotes and motivational videos won’t change how you see yourself, so you work through 3 methods based on studies of how beliefs actually change. Then you build a reading list, set rejection goals and test what you think you want.

You come out of it with a list of things to try, and goals for this week, this month and this year.

  3. Stage 3

    Sustain

This is how you keep going without burning out. You learn to handle your emotions, build closer relationships and make work feel less draining.

You’ll know how you react under stress and what to do instead, and you’ll have a Post-it for your desk.

How it works

  1. 1

    Get it free

Tap “Get the free workbook”. It opens on my Linktree, where you leave your name, email and number. There’s no account to make.

  2. 2

    Watch a stage

Scan the QR code at the start of each stage. Stage 1 is about 20 minutes of the video, Stage 2 about 9 and Stage 3 about 12.

  3. 3

    Pause and answer

Type into the boxes on your laptop, phone or tablet, or print it on A4 and write by hand. Take as long as you need.

Then keep it somewhere you’ll see it, so you can look back at your answers. Your life’s purpose changes as you grow, and your answers will too.

Where the ideas come from

I didn’t make these ideas up. The five strategies come from Robert Greene’s Mastery, the emotion strategies from his The Laws of Human Nature, and the productivity part from Ali Abdaal’s Feel-Good Productivity. The section on beliefs is backed by real studies. What I added is a question for every idea, with an example to help you answer it. Every source is listed at the back, so you can read more on anything that helps you.

Who it’s for

It’s for you if

  • you feel lost or stuck
  • you’re studying or just starting work and don’t know where you’re heading
  • you have an idea of your purpose but don’t know the next step

It’s not for you if

you want someone to hand you your purpose. To be frank, no one is going to give you direction. You still have to do the thinking yourself, and the workbook gives you the questions and the order to answer them in.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes, completely.

Do I need to sign up for anything?

There’s no account to make. On my Linktree you leave your name, email and number, so I can send you the workbook and ask how it went. Updates on my new work are up to you: tick the boxes there if you’d like them. I never sell your details. More in my privacy notice.

Do I need to watch the video?

It helps, because I explain each strategy with examples there. But every page explains its own idea, so the workbook works on its own too.

How long does it take?

As long as you need. Each stage’s part of the video is 9 to 20 minutes, and you can answer the questions over a few days.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. The boxes take typing in PDF apps that support forms, like Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is free on phones too. Or print it on A4.

Even at your lowest, you can still do something about it

Get the workbook, open Stage 1 and answer the first question today. This is your sign to just start.
